Together with different co-operation partners, the Phototourism Centre of Estonia offers the following possibilities for spending a memorable holiday. 1. Arne Ader and his more than a thousand words One image is said to be worth more than a thousand words. Nevertheless, Arne Ader, a man of nature and a photographer, plans to add some more words to his best photos. More detailed information about different photo programs of Arne Ader can be found here. 2. Photo-training with Remo Savisaar Visualising and catching photographs, chasing the right light and moment. From the visual concept of a photo to its realisation – the behind-the-scenes aspects and birth stories of great photos. An energetic and enchanting training meeting the wishes and skills of the participants. More detailed information about different short trainings with Remo Savisaar can be found here. 3. Photo observation expedition with Sven Zacek Estonia from the birds-eye view – a program about Estonia seen and photographed from the height of 100 to 300 metres (cities, landscapes, human activity, animals); the programs of Sven Zacek are more than just the click-and-go type. Duration: 1.5 to 2 hours. 4. Educational photo programs with Urmas Tartes Duration: 1.5 to 2 hours. The story of a nature photo. What is a nature photo? What are the possibilities of photographing in nature? What does the photographer have to take into consideration? What could the viewers of nature photos presume? Mill Theatre: 1. “Mis maksavad need madalad majad” (The Price of These Low Houses) by H. Jõgioja. Village farce, a theatrical performance for adults. Duration: approximately 1 hour. 6. Singing Crystal Bowls At the concert of “singing” crystal bowls, your body and mind are impacted by sounds which offer a purifying and integrating experience. The whole room is filled with vibrations originating from a set of thirteen sound-emitting bowls. Aivar Täpsi. Duration: 1 hour. 7. Sauna + jacuzzi There is a relaxing and luxurious sauna on the second storey of the Phototourism Centre of Estonia. 8. Snowshoe hike in Valgesoo You can take part in a snowshoe hike in the bogs of Valgesoo Landscape Protection Area. To protect the fragile bog surface and for the sake of convenience, we will use snowshoes for hiking – the guide will lead the way. The route is diverse, starting in a sandy pine grove, moving across soggy mires to a raised bog and, from there, to gigantic anthills built by the colonies of Formica in an old spruce stand.
